The fact of the matter is we are still living in a world where systemic racism, social injustice and inequality are still thriving. This needs to be not only acknowledged but also addressed, if we are to bring about real change.
The outpouring of pain, anger and the renewed drive for justice and equality following the death of George Floyd has highlighted the feelings of societies, communities and businesses all over the world.
As a Black Woman, I too feel the pain, anger and sadness I see in the faces of the Families, Friends and the communities of people who have lost their lives, due to racism and Police brutality. Enough is Enough!
Being black should not be a death sentence. We are all one race, the human race.
We are all called to work together and to be the change we want to see. We must commit to loving and understanding our Brothers and Sisters across the world, no matter their differences.
All lives cannot matter, until Black Lives Matter.
